The Curtain Room range of roman blinds are ideal to set behind a set of traditional curtains and by using contrasting fabrics a very striking look can be achieved.

Roman blinds are also a very stylish practical window dressing where drapes are not required or too cumbersome, for example in a kitchen or bathroom.

The Curtain Room range of roman blinds benefit from multiple drawstrings which eliminates the ‘sag’ associated with some alternative brands.

A flat pelmet is a fabric covered band of canvas covered hardboard which can be fitted to any shape of window or to the surrounding walls.

They can be fitted above a window to elongate the appearance of a window. As they are flat, they are economical with fabric, yet at the same time, make the most of any pattern on the fabric.

The edges of the pelmet can be curved or shaped and decorated with many styles of trimmings including piping, bullion fringe or bobble tassels.

A valance is a gathered or pleated pelmet which hangs from a pelmet board to conceal a curtain track and heading.

Valances provide a soft, pretty effect that can be used with curtains or blinds in any room.

As with flat pelmets, valances are ideal to lengthen the look of a window without restricting light.

Blinds are used either on their own as a simple window treatment or in conjunction with a curtains in a multi layered arrangement.

Blinds they are ideal for small windows or windows where there is no space at either side for curtains.

Blinds can be fitted inside the window recess or on the window architrave.

Being economical with fabric and highly adaptable, blinds work well in traditional and complimentary settings.
